LifeSafer appointments must be confirmed by our location
All appointments scheduled through LifeSafer.com, a LifeSafer portal or the LifeSafer call center for our location must also be confirmed directly by St. Paul Ignition Interlock. A LifeSafer booking message or reminder does not, by itself, confirm our location's availability for the requested service and time.
Contact us directly to confirm the date, time, service, vehicle requirements and any agreed deposit before traveling to our location. If the time shown by LifeSafer differs from the time we have confirmed, contact us and LifeSafer promptly so the discrepancy can be resolved.
Do not ignore a calibration date, service deadline, device warning or program requirement while waiting for confirmation. Contact your device provider promptly if a required visit is approaching or you need urgent device support. This local confirmation process does not change your provider's or program's requirements.
Call 651-292-1485 or text our service center to confirm.
An ongoing service relationship
We plan for an ongoing relationship with our clients, from installation through routine service and, when authorized, final device removal. We make reasonable efforts to accommodate the needs of clients who return to our location regularly. Our goal is to understand your vehicle, maintain continuity in your service history and help you address service-related hurdles along the way.
Choose your regular location before installation
We strongly recommend having your device installed at the service center you realistically expect to use for ongoing appointments. Consider its location, appointment availability, communication, technical experience and approach to follow-up. Centers operate differently; do not assume that every location offers the same availability, troubleshooting experience or level of ongoing assistance.
If you already expect to use another location for routine service, we recommend arranging installation with that location. Our installation service is intended to begin an ongoing service relationship, and we may decline an installation request when we cannot provide or agree on appropriate ongoing support.
Avoid being caught between service centers
Repeatedly moving between locations can make follow-up more difficult. A center investigating a problem may need installation details or prior service records held by another location. You may find yourself making calls between centers while the history, next steps and responsibility for follow-up are clarified.
Returning to a regular center helps keep the installation history, recurring symptoms and service discussions together. It supports clearer communication and practical follow-up, although it cannot prevent every device or vehicle problem.
What you can expect from us
We aim to provide careful installation, scheduled service and clear explanations of the steps relevant to your device and vehicle. We will discuss service-related problems, explain what information or checks may be needed, and help you identify when an issue needs attention from the device provider or program authority.
We make an extra effort to work with our regular clients on scheduling and service concerns. Appointments and availability still require confirmation. Additional diagnosis, corrective work or other charges must be explained and agreed before paid work begins. Ongoing support does not mean unlimited free work, guaranteed same-day service or around-the-clock availability.
Already installed elsewhere or need to change locations?
Contact us before booking. Tell us which device and provider you use, where it was installed, the service you need and any unresolved concerns. We will review whether we can accept ongoing service, what records or provider coordination are needed, and whether an assessment or other agreed charges may apply.
We understand that relocation, travel, access needs or an unresolved service concern can make a change necessary. This is our recommendation for continuity of care, not a claim that you are required to remain with one location. Any service or transfer must meet the applicable device-provider and program requirements. If you need urgent help, contact your device provider for appropriate support rather than waiting for a routine appointment or driving an unsafe vehicle.
Working toward completion
Our goal is to help you understand service-related steps and work through practical hurdles as you progress through the program. You remain responsible for following your program requirements, instructions and deadlines. We cannot guarantee a completion date, waive program requirements or decide eligibility. The responsible program authority determines completion and removal authorization.
