Mobile removal or a vehicle arriving by tow?

These visits require advance confirmation and a separate service-center convenience fee, not a LifeSafer charge. Towed vehicles must be delivered inside our building with staff present at an agreed time. Review what the fees cover, exclusions and delivery requirements.

Pricing depends on the vehicle, program authorization and service requested. The amounts below are starting reference points for regular customer service.

Hybrid and all-electric vehicles

Hybrid and all-electric vehicles are subject to a $120 surcharge, plus any required materials and diagnostic scanning charges.

Additional services

Vehicle swaps, corrective work, electrical diagnosis, diagnostic scans, towing coordination, mobile service, same-day requests, after-hours service and storage are quoted separately when applicable.

Program pricing

State-approved reduced-fee eligibility affects participant charges but does not eliminate the need for scheduling, vehicle readiness or authorization. Final customer responsibility is confirmed before service.

Prices may change and do not include taxes, third-party charges or services outside the confirmed scope.

Vehicle condition, diagnostics, and additional work

Standard ignition-interlock pricing does not include unrelated vehicle diagnosis, repair, battery or charging-system testing, wiring or grounding investigation, programming, calibration, or materials required by vehicle condition or special procedures. A warning light or code is documented and evaluated; it is not itself an automatic charge.

When work outside the standard service is necessary, we will identify the condition, explain the proposed work and charge, and obtain your authorization before proceeding. Hybrid and all-electric vehicles remain subject to the published $120 surcharge, plus required materials and diagnostic scanning charges.

Diagnostic scan and escalation charges

Pre-install diagnostic scan and review (up to one hour): $139.
Post-install diagnostic tracing: $199. This applies only when vehicle issues must be traced and you ask us to diagnose or address them; it is not an automatic charge merely because a warning light or code appears.

Clearing a warning light or diagnostic code does not identify or correct its underlying cause. ADAS, airbag, braking, restraint, collision-avoidance, safety-system, and manufacturer-specific faults may require dealer or qualified-specialist diagnosis, calibration, programming, or repair. Referral work is separate from ignition-interlock service.
